London Art Fair 2017 with GBS Fine Art 18 - 22 January 2017
I'm very pleased to be showing a new group of small oil paintings on wood from the Space Series at London Art Fair this year, to accompany two larger landscapes on canvas. Once Upon A Time II is the larger of the two canvases and was shown at the RWA in 'Imagined Landscapes' in 2016. The other painting 'Night Light' is a new piece being exhibited for the first time.
GBS Fine Art can be found on Stand 29 of the Main Fair
The fair opens on Wednesday the 18th until the 22nd of January at the Business Design Centre, Upper Street, Islington N1.
Complimentary tickets are available to the Fair if you'd like to contact me via email.

Two small paintings on wood from the 'Figment' and 'Near to Nowhere' Series have been selected for exhibition in this year's Open at the Royal West of England Academy. This year's invited artists are international photographic artist Susan Derges and Royal Academician Tim Shaw, renowned for his monumental and often politically motivated sculpture. The selection panel includes artist and critic William Packer and galleries Danielle Arnaud, alongside RWA Academicians.
'Near to Nowhere' Catalogues will be available to buy from the RWA Shop during the exhibition.
Open Tuesday - Sunday

Hughie O'Donoghue RA Studio Visit with NOA15
In May I was lucky enough to be invited to visit Hughie O'Donoghue RA in his London studio. Hughie was guest curator of NOA15 and, having long been an admirer of his beautiful paintings, I was selected to visit his studio and see his powerful new body of work with Cloe and Kate from the NOA team. It was a great opportunity to explore his working practice and a fascinating and memorable visit.
Huge thanks to Hughie O'Donoghue and NOA for making it possible.
